Attention: Please take special note.
Due to a past problem in which the customers claimed that this product wasn’t what he/she had expected, we feel it is important that we need to explain in further detail other than what our photos of our products show to you, the potential customer.
The Lava Rock that is shown is Foamed Obsidian, meaning that, this material is a type of volcanic glass, it is crushable. If one is strong enough, you can crush it in your hands.
It is also volcanic, meaning it has holes throughout each and every piece. Within these holes finer material of this Foamed Obsidian can and will be found. In fact these holes can and will carry in them as much as 15 % to 20 % fines. We do our best to screen out as much of these fines as possible, but the very nature of the volcanic material means that it is an impossibility to eliminate those fines.
There is also the fact of the shipping process getting it to you, the customer; this means that many people and machines are handling it roughly. We have no control over it. This shipping process furthers the internal crushing of the material, creating more of these fines.
These fines though are perfect for volcanic origin soil re-mineralization. They are PH neutral and contain
26 elements perfect for plant growth needs. This is true in both the red and black material. The only difference between the red and black is one extra element of iron, thus the red color.
Once you receive this material and it isn’t what you want, please feel free to return it. You of course will be paying for the return shipping cost; and once we receive the returned product we will gladly refund the product material costs only to you. Again we will refund the product costs only, to you, not the shipping costs. If you ordered our material shipped in boxes this means minus the cost of the USPS Flat Rate Box(s); you can find what that cost may be by going to your USPS and looking it up. We pay the same cost as any one else does.
All photos of our products are undistorted by FireRocks.Biz and show a true representation of what we are
trying to sell. Though the true colors are relative and digital media viewers are not all the same, thus the same colors viewed on these machines will differ slightly from machine to machine.
Please try to understand that FireRocks.Biz does its best to provide a quality product at a reasonable price; and that the bulk of the cost of that product is freight.
